Dolpa Region Trekking

The Dolpo Region is a remote Himalayan region where authentic Tibetan culture is still preserved. Known for its yak caravans, ancient monasteries, and traditional Dolpa culture, Dolpo remains one of the most untouched trekking areas in Nepal.

Unlike the developed trekking areas such as the Annapurna Region, Manaslu Region, and Everest Region, Dolpo has very limited infrastructure, so trekking is organized as a camping expedition. The journey offers spectacular scenery including the beautiful Shey Phoksundo Lake, high snowy passes, hidden valleys, and the ancient Shey Gompa monastery.
