Ice Climbing Course
Alpinist Club’s Ice Climbing Course in Nepal offers a practical introduction to climbing on snow and ice in the Himalayas. The program is suitable for beginners, trekkers, and climbers looking to improve their technical ability under the supervision of experienced mountain guides, including an IFMGA-certified guide. Training covers crampon and ice axe techniques, rope work, belaying, rappelling, fixed-rope systems, multi-pitch ice climbing, ice screw placement, anchor building, and essential mountain safety. With approximately 4–6 full days of technical instruction, plus time for travel, trekking, and acclimatization, the course provides a supportive environment to learn step by step, improve your technique, and gain greater confidence in alpine terrain.
